Let's start designing

At first we have designed on the paper. Then we chose with model is the best before I start to design it in the computer and this is the result. **Rhinoceros program is capable to make both 2d and 3d work.

I started with the most important part "Chassis". As you can see in the chassis in picture. The car chassis size is about 17 cm. width and 24 cm. long. And we need 2 of this. Both of it is going to stick together like a sandwich.

This is motor box part. Design to hold the motor in place. It'll attach with both chassis and there is a small hole that let the motor core out to allow the motor core to turn. The size of the box is exactly same size as the motor so the box will tight the motor so it won't move but we still need to apply glue to attach motor to the box.

This is pillar that will hold to saperate between both chassis. I designed it in 3d and used 3d printer to print it out. There are 8 hole in the chassis so we can put those pillars through it.

This is wheel. I download the wheel template from internet and adjust size and used 3d printer to print it out. Then used tape to be the rubber part to create more friction between the wheel and ground.

 

This are the part that I need to design. Other part we already have the material example like the front stainless steel wire to connect both front wheel together.

 

Problem

1. I need to make sure that size of each part is correct.
